Rhodesia Series

Chapter 6-Weights and Measures

An eight piece series centered around the formerly named Rhodesia, created using found materials, stamps and photographs.

With a copy of a Rhodesian Colonial Report from 1953, I took inspiration for each collage using a selected chapter title.

In this series I wanted to portray the large looming presents of the British, the British-ness of most of the images I found were quite strange considering Zimbabwe is now a country far removed from any of these ideas or images.
